Two-enamel wall pieces made in response to the assignment: " consider someone or something you honor highly enough to make a permanent tribute to in enamel OR a message or sign that deserves to be made with such a permanent material". Each enamel piece contains a favorite quote from the podcast Welcome to Night Vale, and a design connecting back to the quote and the podcast itself. 

Both wall pieces are composed of enamel mounted onto painted wood, and hung using a keyhole slot. The designs were composed in illustrator and then acid etched into 5" x 5" 18 gauge  copper.

Quote 2: "There is a thin semantic line between weird and beautiful, and that line is covered in jellyfish"
